ChaLEAN Extreme is a strength training workout program. Equipment is required! The workouts range from 30-45 minutes so this program is very manageable and great for beginners. Chalene focuses on lifting slow and coaching you through proper form. This is a safe program and eliminates the jerky, momentum based motions that can lead to injury. ChaLEAN Extreme was designed with women in mind. Yes, men can do it too, but it is geared towards women. There is a mix of 3 lifting days and 2 interval cardio days so just 5 days per week and the total program lasts 90 days. It is broken up into 3 phases: Burn, Push, and Lean. Each phase builds on the last phase and to reach optimal results you should complete the program in its entirety.

There is a nutrition guide that comes with this program and it recommends using Shakeology – which is an extra cost. You can stick to the food plan without Shakeology but it is highly recommended for optimal results, replenishing energy and staving off hunger that might lead you to break the diet plan.
